Pirate day at Osprey Quay

Phew what a day at Osprey Quay Campus today.

Pupils were invited into school in Pirate costumes and what an amazing effort everyone put in. A very big thank you to all the parents and careers who took the time and effort to find costumes for all the children.

We had a very busy Singalong Assembly in the hall, what a rowdy bunch!

Followed by a delicious BBQ lunch, it was great to see so many parents join us, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Our Pirate afternoon started with a Pirate Parade...

...and ended with a fantastic Pirate Singalong with lots of families joining in and watching us.

Captain Spracklen led us in the singing

What a brilliant day. We can't believe the year is almost over.

More Streetwise from Wednesday!

Some more super shots of the year 2's in Mrs Taylor's class enjoying streetwise.

Pirate names and flags

During our pirate adventures we found out what our pirate name was:

Then we made our very own pirate flags.

NB No pirates were harmed in the taking of this picture :)

Today has been absolutely fantastic, well done children and staff!

Also a BIG thank you to the grownups who helped made the children look fabulous :D

What Shall we do with the Drunken Sailor?

Our Pirate day has kicked off with a pirate singalong.

Pirates!

Arrrrrrrrr pirates on the lose!
